Linda Walsh Originals Information

About Linda Walsh Originals

Hello! My name is Linda Walsh and I am a doll maker and doll pattern designer.

I thought you might like to see a picture of who I am, but as you can tell from the picture above I always have to be different.

Now, I know what you're going to say. You're going to tell me that that isn't a picture of you, Linda! Well, you're right! It's a picture of "The Little Victorian Girl" that has become my Linda Walsh Originals mascot and logo.

So, why am I showing that as a picture representing me? For a really good reason - SURVIVAL!!!!!!

You see, I live in a house filled with over 1,796 handmade dolls and, they rule everything.

Albeit, I created all of them and they aren't human. But, that doesn't matter to them. They out vote me just by sheer numbers.

So, to keep peace in "The Dollie Storage Room", which is where they live - over the garage, I had to make the picture that represents all of us "The Little Victorian Girl."

We, that is, all the dolls and I, are the owners of Linda Walsh Originals which sells "Doll Patterns For Grown-up Girls!" and  Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns which sells "Instant Download E-Patterns For Grown-up Girls!"  I just finished desiging 189 new patterns and will have a total of 278 patterns that I have designed and added to my websites in the near future.

We have a brand new FREE 2009 Linda Walsh Originals Print Patterns and E-Patterns E-Catalog that contains pictures of all 275 of our doll and craft designs.  If you would like to download our FREE 2009 Linda Walsh Originals Print Patterns and E-Patterns E-Catalog pleaseCLICK HERE and follow the prompts to download.  It's a 33 page e-catalog in .PDF format.

We are also the owners of Linda Walsh Originals Dolls - Handmade Dolls & Crafts website, both of which sell "Handmade Dolls & Crafts For Decorating The Homes of Grown-up Girls!"  We have hundreds upon hundreds of dolls & crafts all handmade by me available for sale on our new website.

If you are looking for a decoration for your home then we have a doll or craft for every occasion, every season, and every holiday. We have "handmade dolls & crafts" for grown-up girls primitive, Victorian, country, colonial, folkart, and shabby chic decorating needs.

Please note that all of the handmade dolls & crafts sold on our Linda Walsh Originals Dolls website are intended as home decorations for use by grown-up girls only. They are not children's products and not intended for use by children 12 and under.

And, our "Linda Walsh Originals - Patterns & Handmade Dolls For Grown-up Girls!" website showcases everything and anything there is to know about us. Whether it's our print patterns & e-patterns, our handmade dolls, our Gray Is Beautiful line of products, our e-books, our blogs, our photo albums and slide shows, it's all just a click away from our "Linda Walsh Originals - Patterns & Handmade Dolls For Grown-up Girls!" website.  We even have links to all our Facebook fan pages to make it easier for you to become a fan of all our Facebook pages.

We also have a Linda Walsh Originals Etsy Shoppe where we sell some of our handmade dolls and e-patterns.  If you get a chance, please pay us a visit.  And, we have a little Linda Walsh Originals Patterns Mini-Shoppe that sells some of our e-patterns.

A couple of months ago the "dollies" and I decided to create some video's of everything we are doing.  So, we created two video's and set-up a LWOrig YouTube channel so you could easily view them.  Our first video is entitled: "There's So Much To See and Do At Linda Walsh Originals" and is all about us.  You can view that video at the bottom of this page.  Our second video showcases our love for "faceless" dolls and is entitled: "Faceless Beauties By Linda Walsh Originals" and showcases some of our Victorian "Ladies."

Besides our "About Us" page here we also have a Linda Walsh - Google Profile  page with links to some of our websites, blogs, and social networking sites.

The "dollie's" and I used to write a monthly column called "Tips From The Blogging Queen"for the Faithful Friends Online Monthly Newsletter .  Now we have a "Tips From The Blogging Queen" blog containing all my columns and other FREE articles I have written for various e-zines and websites.

We also have a monthly sewing club entitled "Linda's Twelve Months of Sewing Club" that offers everyone a chance to get some of my Linda Walsh Originals E-Patterns for FREE or at a salesprice.

It's a great blog to visit.

The "dollies" decided or should I say "demanded" a blog of their own so I created The Dollie Storage Room Blog just for them.  They're in charge of it so you never know what's going to happen.  I can tell you this though it's always an interesting blog to visit.

Our Gray Is Beautiful Blog supports our "Gray Is Beautiful Products" and also showcases the "Gray Is Beautiful" series of dolls.  The "grays" are in charge of this blog and it is always an interesting blog to visit.

We also have "Top Blogs By Crafters" that we started to showcase some of the best blogs by crafters on the Internet.  We have close to 530 members and we just keep adding new members everyday.    If you like blogs written by artists and crafters then you'll want to subscribe to  "Top Blogs By Crafters."

You might be wondering why  would I do all this?  Well, you see, I like to do as much as a I can to help showcase "artists & crafters" on the net.

Why?

For a couple of reasons.

First, the arts & crafts community on the net is one of the best communities out there. Everyone is always so willing to help everyone else out.

Secondly, everyone is so skilled and so creative that I like to showcase their talent as much as I can. So, wherever I can I try to promote all the artists and crafters on the net.

And last but not least, I need something to write about in all those blogs besides "dolls" - don't I?
